Getting cold

This night was the first really cold one: We had some frost on the car windows. So winter is showing it's face finally. But a beautiful morning it was: Sun shining through the mists hovering over the hills around us, glittering meadows and some clouds on a clear blue sky.
And besides in the car, lying on two matresses and under two blankets and a sleeping bag we don't feel so much of the cold :) Tim, our host, gave us the very useful idea of making a warming-bottle out of plastic water bottles. We'll keep that in mind for other cold nights!

We hope to force our luck with the good weather a bit further and go south in the direction of Auckland again. Next stop: two WWOOFing places in Kaiwaka region.

We will miss the dog puppies :)
